LTD is an absolute must. We used to have pre contract and then GU gave us the pathetic 5 year LTD that we have now.
Think about that, pre contract we had LTD for loss of license til retirement and GU got rid of it in our contract!?! How can people trust a guy like that? And now he tells us how important it is? GU is a walking contradiction.

Sure I guess I’ll wait another year for some protections on partner airlines that are irrelevant to us. We don’t have codeshares so what does it matter. If there are viva specific protections then let’s look at them, but I’m not willing to fight for an extra year over scope stuff just because GU doesn’t like the number of seats on viva’s aircraft’s.
Scope is a boogeyman. The Lorenzo protections against alter ego airlines are already in our scope, that’s the most important imo.

im pretty sure we’ve already got a TA on furlough with some extra protections. I remember AR bragging about it on his videos. He obviously could have been lying.

Things are never a problem until they are a problem. Just because we don't do something today doesn't mean we won't do it tomorrow and I think you know that. We have to plan for all contingencies including overnights. I understand from your position though, none of the rules will ever apply to you with your seniority. But they apply to everyone else. You are just going to have to wait it out. There have been like 3 surveys now? You are in a very very small minority of pilots.
dude he negotiated the first scope clause! So now it’s terrible and we are all gonna lose our jobs because he sucked the first time around so we trust him this time?? You are incredible. I’ve got some swamp land in pgd to sell you, you’ll love it right in your backyard.

Got to disagree with you here. Scope is very important especially when you're dealing with a scoundrel like MG. It's not unrealistic that he could sign a code share agreement with anyone the next day and transfer flying. It's a foregone conclusion that Viva will be flying from Mexico into every G4 base and many large destinations. Also did you already forget about Miami Air replacing G4 flights? None of those would fall under alter ego.

And that is why GU will always have people like you by the balls, drinking all his kool aid.

I still think JR and our NC could be good for our pilot group if he stops drinking GU’s kool aid and swallowing everything he drinks.

That said the opposite extreme is you guys who want to do a full rewrite and bring the Delta contract to allegiant. That is a quixotic adventure.
The two of you are just talking past each other. If this is what's truly happening in the pilot group (which I doubt) you'll never get a contract until you collectively meet in the middle and task your negotiators. Sounds like GU, JR, and CG have a pretty tough job herding cats right now.

No I don't think Nate is in allegiant management but I do think he's an aloof <200 seniority captain who only cares about the issues that affect him (money, LTD, retirement) and to hell with the rest. Those guys are the biggest handicap to unity the G4 pilot group has. They will gladly throw the rest of the pilot group under the bus as they did in the first contract and they're a very vocal minority.
