Just more false promises that things will change while nothing has changed besides the name of the almighty dictator. I do think we have more leverage than some pilots think but we should’ve had a contract 6 months ago regardless of everything that happened. I’m sure Owen’s and crew were fine and GU just didn’t like that he wasn’t in power. I know for a fact they did not pass a TA requiring us to download apps and have the company track us, it was literally the opposite, that’s just this new regime spreading false nonsense to make them look like superstars.
The union had a chance to hit a "home run" contract shortly after the wave started following Alaska's deal. Instead, AR was to busy running each committee and playing holywood director to learn how to actually negotiate. IBT could have come in, wrapped this thing up on a couple of months and we would all be bragging about how strong the IBT actually is. Instead, we're all sitting here scratching our heads wondering what the h*ll we did to deserve this mess.

We won't know what language was or wasn't in these TA's through the various changes until something comes out to vote. Even then, we just see the final product. I agree, it seems like a lot of political showboating. Should we be surprised? No, GU is a lunatic lefty having wet dreams about "saving" the IBT from a suddenly moderate Sean O'Brien.

You guys are hilarious. They just passed the hard sections of the contract for the first time just a few weeks ago.

perfect!! Should have a contract in 2027 then if we are just starting to the hard part of the contract!!

That’s exactly what we want to hear. You are so tone deaf Tom. Go check on your boy AR and see if he’s okay.

I’m honestly impressed with your ability to just happily swallow whatever gets thrown in your face.

But you are so clueless that your arguments try to defend the Union are actually just proving how inept and poor our representation is.

If I’m GU I’d either have you muzzled or removed from the union so you stop doing so much damage. I mean you seriously said, without any irony, “guys don’t stress, I know it’s been 3+ years of negotiations but our union just passed the hard sections of the contract so we should be getting a legacy contract soon…”

I still chuckle at how often you put your foot in your mouth. You should write for the onion or the Babylon bee.

Have you read your own comments on your WhatsApp group? Your Facebook group? H*ll, even here. In your own words, you just admitted that you may be the biggest coward around lately by the hand of your own actions.

We've flown together quite a bit once upon a time and I like to think of you as a friend, but man... I think it's time to take a serious look in the mirror. This whole blind-loyalty denial thing you've been going for the last little bit isn't looking good.
I'm not sure what you're referring to regarding me contradicting my self. BUT, if you'd like to have a talk then lets have a talk. You know how to reach me. Hell you've been calling me out here by my nickname, and it's really no mystery. I don't try to hide my identity. Hell I've even made somewhat controversial posts with my name, nickname and employee number. To the point that I've had conversation with company officials about what I've said, and I've stood my ground. So by all means "friend", give me a talk and we'll hash it out some more if you like. This back and forth on this public forum really accomplishes nothing.

Are there any items worth holding out for in your opinion? How would you handle scope? Just let it go? Don’t change it?

honestly scope is boogeyman. What would you change about scope? Because nothing has happened with scope that has impacted a single Allegiant pilot. I know GU is out there telling us without massive changes to scope then Mexican pilots are gonna fly all of our routes but that’s just lies. It’s illegal, will never happen.

So I think scope is just a boogeyman that ibt uses to get scare so we run into their arms. The alter ego protections are already there which is the biggest protection because that’s exactly what MG would do if he could.

But I wanna know from GU what horrible things management has done to us because of the pathetic scope that he got us last time?

LTD is an absolute must. We used to have pre contract and then GU gave us the pathetic 5 year LTD that we have now.

Think about that, pre contract we had LTD for loss of license til retirement and GU got rid of it in our contract!?! How can people trust a guy like that? And now he tells us how important it is? GU is a walking contradiction.

How about furlough protection for everyone on the current seniority list? How about a ratio of flight routes and/or tails per partner route? How about define the number of aircraft and seats for a partner airline?
