Contract negotiations

JR leading the negotiations is the problem because he’s turning into a full blown politician. Every communication from him sounds more and more like AR, GU and C Graff - basically a pilot who sees an opportunity to never fly for Allegiant again and just sit around living the union high life.
JA just wants to fly, I’ve talked to him. He has no desire to actually be a union boss and drag out negotiations. JR on the other hand…

So you've talked to JA, have you talked to JR? Has he told you he wants to be a union boss? Bc based on my conversations with him he'd also rather these negotiations come to fruition, we get a good TA and he return to the line. You keep speaking about JR in a manner as if he already told you? Yet it's obvious he hasn't. You forcing your opinion on what you yourself have concocted by your own personal opinion. If you ever talk to JR in person you'll be surprised about his very "eloquant" way of speaking. So basically to you he's sounding more like a politician, and now bc of this he wants to be a union boss. Gotcha

I'm beginning to think it was more about being a power-grab by those entrenched with the IBT rather than going after "criminal behavior". I'm not an AR fanboy, but I'm even less of a fanboy of the IBT and the 1224 idiots.

not my personal opinion, just like my AR info wasn’t personal opinion. Ask hik pointed direct questions and you’ll see the same blunder and political deceiving as AR and graff before him. If you just suck up to him and drink the union kool aid of course it’s gonna be roses.

Now, the slate that lost the vote is in power with the guy (CG and GU) who sold us this first contract with a bunch of lies and absolutely nothing has been done since March.. It wouldn't at all surprise me if we get dissolved so national can steal our money.

I never sucked up or drank the Kool-aid to AR. I'm not doing it now towards anyone. I am however doing the same thing I did before, give the benefit of the doubt, reserve judgment, and allowing those in "power" to remove all doubt and certainty; or show that they have what it takes and are doing the right thing for the pilot group. Ranting and talking sh***** on here accomplashes nothing, and it's almost a corwardly way to do things. Unless you were part of the group that blew the whistle or exposed AR for who he was then all you can do is give yourself another pat on the back for you "brave" blogging. Cheers.
i'll continue to use my brain when i'm being fed b.s. and talked to like i'm an idiot. fact of the matter is that each of us have already lost somewhere between $200-$800k in wages and retirement. there is no "home run" deal out there anymore. there is no leverage and this pilot group doesn't want to wait another 18 months and miss out on another $200k-$500k while we wait for the IBT to play with our careers. GU is trying to use allegiant pilots as a stepping stone to get back in power with the airline division. we are just pawns and the worst part out it is that JR is going along with it. i've asked JR tough questions about ibt, GU, negotiations and all i get back are political talking points and how we have to trust GU and ibt leadership.

cool. giving the benefit of the doubut until "those in power remove all doubt and certainty." that is the definition of just drinking the kool aid and not believing everything you fed.

We've flown together quite a bit once upon a time and I like to think of you as a friend, but man... I think it's time to take a serious look in the mirror. This whole blind-loyalty denial thing you've been going for the last little bit isn't looking good.
Let's be honest with ourselves for once. The amount of money we have ALL lost at the hand of 1224, then AR with 2118 and now once again 1224 via GU and homegrown talent like JR is truly sickening. JR himself ran on the principle that we cannot let this negotiation drag on forever because the economics alone do not make sense. He has done a complete 180. I supported him and truly cheered when I learned he'd be in the room. I voted for the guy. Let me tell you, talk about some serious buyers remorse. We're now collectively letting a group of extremely questionable IBT characters hold us back from bringing home more than $125,000-150,000 a year on average. That is the true theft that went on here.
