Nobody is happy with our cba. Yes and it was not the 2 pilots who are in there negotiating now, the one with the title pilot negotiator wasn't even on property at the start of our current CBA and the second (current chief of staff) was only hired a few months before and wasn't involved. Sure those two don't call the shots but if there was anything unethical occuring pertaining to negotiations on the union side we would all know about it by now.

I don’t know the characters and I don’t have a dog in this fight but isn’t he doing the company a favor? By keeping wages so low below industry average he’s helping them save on longevity costs and hourly rates. I read he put in for a company position and was turned down. The allegations about an airline that rhymes with Shmerican is that the union guys would get a crappy contract signed and then the negotiators and leadership would all get management jobs. Perhaps this guy is going to reapply.

you’d have to ask the union. They’ve stated they have leverage but won’t say what it is. My opinion is the company is in a tough spot financially to get financing for the 737, so getting a contract is a must and they’re running out of options until the union actually shows up to negotiate.
