so protections around base closures (most of us live in base). Some surety that day trips will continue. Extra money every time we don’t get home at night due (irops). Above all, we need way better protections for reserves. Some of our reserves in FL get abused - that’s gotta change.
old regime griped for a decade about unstacking, pbs, etc and tried to arbitrate those things. We’ve lost like 10 arbitrations in a row so I doubt we win the few pbs arbitrations that are still in limbo.

Rules that protect our work life balance. We came here for day trips and to sleep in our beds at night (why else would anyone come here???)

In Florida you are basically Resereve for all of florida. They will send you in a lift to any of the other airports to cover flights. Not sure if its happening as much but at times they have also sent florida based reserve to DH to smaller bases to fly flight our of that base sometimes for days. The lack of rules start to hit hardest when a base or several in an area are short.

If only there was a way the pilot group could have known this was happening years ago.
A handful of pilots who played the game for years at various airlines and know how it's supposed to be played were screaming fraud but everyone kept telling them to shut up and the EXCO attacked them and discredited them and most of them gave up and left the company.
They are owed many apologies and gratitude for having the guts to speak out when they did and get this ball rolling.
Hopefully you guys can get proper representation and a contract you deserve now.

AR was “taking care” of the eboard. Only one of them had the integrity to say this isn’t right. The other ones were enjoying the “high life”.
A civil suit basically a certainty but I would guess racketeering charges are a 99.9 percent chance of happening as well. But as Tom has said. ( I am very naive to how things work, lol).
The only thing Tom says he has ever been wrong about was the results of the “routine audit”.
But in all fairness to that he was regurgitating what AR had told him and took as absolute gospel.
It’s becoming clear that there was a particular “quality” of personal that AR liked to surround him self with/promote/hire.

Yeah, lot to “digest” even the hard core fan boys are starting to see/ acknowledge that they were way off (conned)

Anybody else getting any info or updates on the hearing?
I'm getting radio silence from my sources about the hearing. I still cannot believe that we are on our FOURTH negotiating committee since january...
Management is gonna get to keep us on the cheap until 2026-2027 without even trying to stall/delay negotiations because of the drama and infighting within the union.
