We still have AR, RF, RJ, KS, JA, MC, that have between 20 and 30 years left before retirement and they all seem to believe that we will earn a great contract.

See you at the picket line
I wasn’t taking a victory lap. After your previous statement, I was simply asking a question. If you’re gung-ho about backing the union because they seem committed for the long term and now one of them is bailing, then has your attitude changed?

What the **** is with some people wanting to turn everyone into the ****ing enemy, jfc.

I was thinking in terms of a Captain in his 8th year & presumably privy to details of the true state of negotiations - I doubt he’d leave if we were anywhere near moving toward an agreement. I don’t expect to hear anything different from these first mediated negotiations. Co. still waiting for the recession to kick in & the return of the 2008/9 hiring environment. I’d love to be proven wrong.

AR has said today that all indications are business as usual from the company in the first sessions, ie they are not ready to deal yet. He also says the company is adding 2 more attorneys to the table.

They can easily show just enough progress to string this out 2-3 more years….I still say MG gets serious after we get released (I know many say we’ll never get released) either way the company has to be in way more dire straights before anything happens.

For the remaining fence-sitters….fyi

EV is supposedly making a video to announce his departure. What he says could help a lot of the fence-sitters make up their minds.

Anyone know where he's going?

EV is probably the smartest one of that bunch. I can't believe he held out this long. Everyone should see this as a huge sign. He's seen the confidential info...

Might be the smartest of those that haven't left yet but the smart ones dipped a while back.

Who knows.

Hows your current QOL? Do you commute? Do you live in an Allegiant base? Does your regional have a guaranteed job at any legacies?
