I would say EV leaving for a legacy is the exception that proves the rule. Taking a victory lap because ONE person is leaving for a legacy??
We still have AR, RF, RJ, KS, JA, MC, that have between 20 and 30 years left before retirement and they all seem to believe that we will earn a great contract.
See you at the picket line

What the **** is with some people wanting to turn everyone into the ****ing enemy, jfc.

I was thinking in terms of a Captain in his 8th year & presumably privy to details of the true state of negotiations - I doubt he’d leave if we were anywhere near moving toward an agreement. I don’t expect to hear anything different from these first mediated negotiations. Co. still waiting for the recession to kick in & the return of the 2008/9 hiring environment. I’d love to be proven wrong.

They can easily show just enough progress to string this out 2-3 more years….I still say MG gets serious after we get released (I know many say we’ll never get released) either way the company has to be in way more dire straights before anything happens.
For the remaining fence-sitters….fyi

EV is probably the smartest one of that bunch. I can't believe he held out this long. Everyone should see this as a huge sign. He's seen the confidential info...

Might be the smartest of those that haven't left yet but the smart ones dipped a while back.
