Since you don’t work here anymore maybe you’ve forgotten.
but on reserve you can pick up overtime.
So that is a lie and not a fact.
every base besides IWA has people hired within the last year.
you don’t have to spend each day commuting that would be a personal choice. On Monday a guy flew into my base morning of, (having picked up “overtime”) and flew home 30 minutes after our block in.
have I debunked enough of your lies yet? Can I now start personally attacking you?
also one thing everyone on here agrees on, (besides you because you’ve been miserable for years? Is that everyone they work with here is great and the enjoy working with their coworkers. I haven’t heard the same about your glorious airline, quite the opposite.
enjoy your commute! ;-)
im starting to think your wife made you take the job so she could start boinking someone else.

years now. My class of 12 has 3 people left. Why do you think that is?
What Marg, myself and others have said isnt BS. Anyone coming here needs their head examined.

So you are going to hold the line until you shut it down and dont have a job anymore? What a hero. I dont understand why the "shut it down" crowd doesnt leave now? Seniority is everything and all.
The company hired pretty much half the TN ANG pilots and Im pretty sure the newest ones hired this year already hold TYS. They aint leavin.
There ARE people who have been hired who live in Flint. Allentown has pilots who *gasp* live there. A couple even own local distilleries. Heck, one is a retired Delta pilot!
Our bases arent huge and the company WILL find pilots who live in junior bases who want to stay. Their biggest mistake was hiring young, no degree, no PIC pilots thinking they wouldnt/couldnt leave. They have changed their hiring strategy and sure, not everyone will stay, but they are finding people who truly want to be here.
Some of the biggest whiners on the facebook page are either unhirable elsewhere or have already failed at their interview attempts.
Ill be the first to admit my crystal ball was wrong if years go by without a CBA. If we get one sooner will you do the same?

If allegiant gets ahead in the airline industry because they have sub par rates, why should they survive? If they are taking pax away from good paying carriers, that threatens the jobs at those good paying carriers. No business should benefit from artificially low labor, including G4. So they either pay up or should be shut down. ULCC's and LCCs have a place in the market because they identify markets which are not served by other carriers, and because they are creative in their revenue streams. Not because they can get a away with paying half the rate for their skilled labor.
Those who perpetuate that industry without fighting for better are the problem.

Year 2 pay is still below all the other carriers when you factor in low monthly credit on reserve , 401k matching, vacation, bidding and all the other parts of the contract the union is fighting for. A industry leading contract will fix the shortage.
