Contract negotiations

AR is not stopping negotiations, he never said that was his intention. AR is only going to negotiate during Scheduled session set out by the NMB with a Mediator present. You seem to be very plugged in to MG, SS, and GA’s world, but it was MG who made the misstep this time. AR isn’t going to **** off the NMB, he’s just going to let them be in charge of the schedule and let the company hang out to dry while they wait.
No more of Maury calling and loading up the jet to fly to AZ to waste everyone’s time outside of scheduled meetings on random dates not originally planned. Now a mediator is present and will schedule the dates and times. The union speaks for the pilots.

I think we need fresh eyes at the negotiating table, I see several issues with the current committee outside of the current impasse.
1)The pilots never elected or selected them.
Yes we did, we Vote for the leadership team and they build their team. If the majority of the pilots at any point do not like the the way things are going, they can recall the Exco and a new team would be built.
2)We’ve never seen their resumes, nor do any of them have relevant experience that any of us can point to.
Thats for the Exco to do its why they are elected.
3)We lack an effective/experienced legal team with airline CBA experience.
How do you know this, we have Retained attorneys and access to experience at National if we need.
4)We haven’t dipped into the assessment fund that was supposed to be used for negotiations.
If its not needed now why use it, Long ways to go and a lot more battles to fit. Its good to have the money available when needed.
5)Things have become too personal on both sides.
It always gets personal its our lively hoods. I do not see any evidence that the NGC as taken it personal.
To the best of my knowledge, the company and the union agreed to not Neg in public. The company sending out a offer summary to the pilots, directly violates this. This is for sure the company trying to directly neg with pilots, and play on individuals emotions to weaken the unions collective power.
We need a closer with the proper experience, it’s time to send in someone to break the stalemate and get things done.

Well looks like N1Sync hit a nerve of someone on the negotiating committee.
I always love the canned response "Well if you don't like it recall the EXCO". Because you know that's hard to do and you can hide behind it.
You don't need to recall the EXCO to change committee members, but it's always an option if the EXCO doesn't respond to the demands of the pilot group. And I agree that the time has come for Andrew to stop putting his buddies and key supporters in these key positions, despite them being massively unqualified to hold them. Andrew needs to open it up to applications from the pilot group and select those with the experience to get it done.
The current makeup of the NC is just more of his crony politics. He runs it like a mob boss or a Chicago mayor. Which is why the allegiant pilots are where they are right now.

you clearly don’t know our bylaws, only the eboard can recall the Exco. You also aren’t familiar with the team, it’s a loyalty and favorites club. I’m not saying they haven’t tried hard but it’s apparent they are out of their league and too proud to call in the help they need and the help we have paid for and deserve.

2) you had an opertunity to look at thier resumes and profiles during the election
3) RH is in with our team and we will be going into mediated negotiations
4) we have dipped into the assessment, but not a lot, but negotiations still have a year or two to go
5) no one is making this personal unless you count personalized mailers made to trigger spouses

From what the union has said it is not the rates that is the “planets apart” but the duty rigs, work rules and critically LTD.

Our local is absolutely run like a small time mob boss instead of a professional entity. It’s one king at the top and filled with underlings and “yes-men.” Nobody even tries to deny that.
