strong bags… they fit in those sweet new 737s that don’t have any space in them

We’re lookin good G4! To be parking airplanes this summer… After an all-out blitzkrieg herculean spring time managerial mission to recruit, train and retain, in what should be gearing up for the most dynamic explosive growth in all history…

Net negative 6 pilots… Ooof..

That's rough but I can't blame anyone for leaving. UAL just had unfilled CA vacancies on the latest bid. They have a 1 year on property requirement before upgrading so new hires are looking at $262/hr year 2 pay, 16% DC plus great work rules. Not to mention the legacies will be getting big raises at some point.

Don't get the side pockets - they'll get caught on the sides of the metal frame of the cockpit baggage space and tear the hell out of your bag.

Interesting that “America’s most profitable airline” isn’t even in the conversation while LCC’s/ULCC’s play musical chairs? Why would that be?

Not to mention a 5% pay raise when profitability returns. International overrides for both per diem & hourly. I hear schedule flexibility is great too and bidding. A pilot who's home every night seems like an oxymoron to me. What's the arbitrary value put on that? What's the hourly rate for grievances filed? You guys set the record last year per percentage right? 1k pilots with 10+ leaving a month (albeit bottom seniority) means 120+ in a year? Is that 12%? Bet those reserve lines creep up and min line values depending on base. Class of 24 turned into 12? Is that half? 12 sounds like a good number. Is that how many bases close amidst this shortage? What's the company pay towards moving expenses? Heard big three is $250k+ (actually I know). I'm sure there's a mileage rate though, so that's something. How's that truckers union working for you? Heard they negotiated furloughs and way back kept ALPA off property. I'm sure they're experienced and good at what they do, what is it again, DJing and negotiating for top 12%? Or making sure you're home every night? Good luck negotiating with that attrition and clueless inexperienced reps. Heard some woman named Tracey (previous FA) is in charge of pilot group. Guess if you change the title that's legal eh? How's that going?

Airbus has a tray table, spacious flight deck, and auto throttles you don't turn off on landing though so that's cool. And an autopilot. Still "pilots" by definition though I suppose. What's a must work day and how's PBS btw? Benefits pretty good for family travel on AA? Asking for a friend who hasn't applied. I think real airlines are hiring?

This has me laughing. Maybe start with a new Union. Maybe become a real airline and have overnights. Maybe tell the top 12% or so (&#128513 to grow a spine and not be blinded by laughable raises. Maybe apply to a real airline 😉

Yes of course. The one thing that determines an airline's legitimacy is overnights. Thank you for your valuable insight.

Sounds like some one needs to stop blaming 2118 for their furlough, and hold the company accountable… since you brought up the start of the thread, it’ll be fun to watch management squirm on the next earnings call as we watch the sunset.

Me? Oh no, I don't work at G4. I had the brains to apply to a real company before the 320 type was even complete. How those new hire classes coming? Banking on company giving in and enticing pilots with a new contract? Hilarious. Maybe if you had a real union like ALPA or APA they could attempt leverage. Even then, in this hiring environment, what moron would go to G4. Maybe a short stint at big blue or yellow (guess they'll merge and be green if I remember my kindergarten coloring book) before hopping to aforementioned real airline. Home every night biggest scam out there. What's the arbitrary value on that? Real pilots overnight (and manually manipulate thrust on approach + landing).

Not like the company will respect whatever contract is agreed upon anyway. Enjoy those grievances. Company will shrink before a contract. What's a must work day? How often your bids conveniently reset? Asking for a friend who hasn't applied. I think some real companies are hiring . God forbid you take a brief pay cut and lose some seniority. Enjoy that east coast shuttle run. Bus driver such a funny pun in this context. How's that retirement plan coming along? MG isn't dumb, guys a savant. Your expensive union is bleeding, and your head DJ is applying blood thinners. Cheers. (Laughing harder for the record)
