Do you guys think Jude will come pick up the pieces and buy it when they shrink it and sell off the airline? He’s got massive growth plans for Sun Country. Not even sure with our contract doubling the passenger fleet in 5 years is possible.

I hope that AR is right and management does tell us what is on the table, at least then we will get some actual info about what is going on. maybe i am old fashioned, but i prefer a written update - the mood lighting, makeup and instagram filters don't really do it for me...

Jude would take this place to the moon... definitely lost a good one when he was pushed out.

So when is your app going out? Until I see all of these posters preaching doom and gloom actually do something besides chime in on message boards I am calling their bluff.
And I can only dream of being in the 200 list (you probably think my actual name is Nathan and that you've doxxed me but it is not, I am not that simple).
AR's video was very disappointing. I don't know why he had to change the mood lighting in his house, the blue lights looked better. the red lighting didn't blend in with his makeup. I just can't believe that management and the union are still lightyears apart. the rumors I got from the union on the latest pay proposal was better than alaska's at certain ranges. Management even proposed a staffing model and an unstack percentage - how does that equate to lightyears apart? my source said that the staffing model and unstack percentage were less than Delta's but wouldn't give any specifics when i asked how they compared to other airlines, only that it was less than what Delta has - honestly not sure what to make of it?
Somebody needs to give us some actual details of what is holding this thing up? TDY rules? I still can't believe how inept management and the union have been in communicating with us. we get instagram videos and fancy filters from AR and a bunch of platitudes from management.
Margi - find one post where i said a contract was imminent. I have always said the earliest a contract would get done is 2024 and that it could be 2027 if AR and MG get into a d*ck measuring contest. But of course i am a management tool for wanting more transparency from my union and not drinking AR's koolaid at all times. I guess AR's mood lighting and makeup won you over![Wink](https://www.airlinepilotforums.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Not willing to budge on LTD should tell us everything - those who are paying attention. This is a philosophical gulf, not a spat about work rules. And MG’s not gonna budge & if you stick around (and the company survives) you’ll be walking a picket line.

well at least you’ll be able to strike. Allegiant is probably one of the few airlines unrecognized enough around Washington to even have a chance at release to strike.

I think the goal should be to do what we can to make the place attractive enough where another airline will buy us.

Keep trying to put words my mouth - again i never said a contract was coming until 2024 at the earliest. My sin was proving you wrong about the Union passing compensation in early November and questioning AR's lack of transparency and the unstack stuff he mentioned in video last month. but I'm just a management tool for wanting some real transparency instead of mood lighting and makeup...
Come on Margi, I'm sure this isn't your first rodeo. Have you ever seen a Union give so little detail/insight into the negotiations process - especially when pilots are making huge life decisions based on the status of negotiations?
We should be getting quick bullet points after each session stating what the union passed what the company passed, etc. were there any TAs, etc. I don't want a sales job by my union leader, just give us some specific details so we have some idea of what is going on. Of course management isn't communicating anything, but i am not paying them to represent me. I will always expect more of my union than I do of this management group. I wish the union and management would quit trying to sell me a used car and just send out some bullet points of who is passing what and then stop treating us like some yuppies that have never been around the block.

Sun Country has 47 aircraft and apc says 462 pilots which comes to 9.8 pilots per aircraft, then Allegiant has 1125 pilots and 193 aircraft which comes to 5.8 pilots per aircraft. No airline that wants to keep pilot pay low will buy an airline and the pilots when they need to hire almost 4 more pilots per aircraft bought.
