Unsure what the union is supposed to do about something that is annoying but not against the contract.

Maybe blame the company when these issues arise rather than the union .

I've had plenty of blame for the company here.

Just for the sake of argument. do you think Delta or UAL unions would just sit by and say oh well, everyone needs to file a grievance and so sorry everyone is working 90 hours over Christmas regardless of seniority when the company comes out and says [paraphrasing] "we changed the algorithm to make everyone work, because of company need, get over it, we own you". No they would not. They would be raising holy hell. We don't even get a whimper. But lots of election videos telling us to vote for his drinking buddies.

How about that real PBS system we were supposed to get 3 years ago? Yeah.

Where in the contract we’re you promised a new PBS system? Either you haven’t read the contract, or you believed every lie the (old) union leadership sold as truth… The only thing that was required by the contract was that the company begin negotiating PBS. Not that they ever implement it.

We got one. Here come the union apologists. Sorry, you guys are weak and useless but always on brand to blame the previous leadership for all of our problems.

Maury has exactly the union he wants right now. And he rewards you handsomely.

Running a union is likely a thankless job, but I’ll take our current leadership and brand over anything else I’ve been a part of. Do you honestly believe that ALPA is a better choice? Or that all the work to get us our own local was done in a couple of hours? The value of that exceeds anything we currently pay our reps in my opinion.

Bear in mind we barely passed the Teamsters in against our in-house AAPAG years ago. I shudder to think what we would currently have if they had stayed in power. Actually no I don’t as there is zero chance I would still work here.

Just because you speak loudly and are outraged doesn’t make you the majority or even correct. Even though that seems to be status quo for 2021 anymore.

Default Upgrades

The profile page says 120 upgrades through February. Has this started yet? About how many have started training and or finished and on the line?
