I’ll be surprised to see any more hiring in the forseeable future. In fact, every one on property should be taking stock of their finances etc for the inevitable consequences that may come. I also wouldn’t be surprised to see a reversal of the small base plan.

Poor timing on my end because I have an interview shortly :(

Upside is my seniority at the regional should keep me employed short of catastrophic failure.

How are they going to park the planes at the major bases if they do close the small bases? Per our contract how many hundreds of thousands of dollars in moving expenses would it cost Allegiant to close those same bases?

Any reduction in flying yet? Latest press release says no reductions at this point.

What could be next is a flu shot to stop it.

You never know. But saying disaster is inevitable is incorrect.

Am I the only one exhausted with the chicken little routines? It’s the flu. A fast spreading flu sure, but the flu. If you’re healthy and under 60 it’s a non-event. Move on.

A Global Pandemic and people feel the need to mock the severity of the situation. Lets see what the next 10 days brings us.

Rejection already?

I applied this afternoon, and soon received their form letter asking me to take their personality assessment. I was running errands at the time (getting my daughter from school, etc) and before i had a chance to take the assessment, i had a rejection notice from Allegiant in my inbox, about 3 hours after they had invited me to take their assessment. Did i do something wrong? I wonder if my total time scared the HR folks off? (3,300TT with about 3000 turbine, and 1000PIC). I'm not sure what happened. I sent an email to the "Contact Us" link on their main page, since my communications with them came from a noreply address with no other contact info. Has anyone else had this issue?
