Tdy

How often are guys tdy’d from the more seasonal bases and where do they tdy to?

Ask because I’d like to come there for the home every night thing but if I’m tdy it kind of defeats purpose for my family

Shoot for first class available and you should be OK as you'll have 100ish FOs below you by end of 2019.
Or maybe not.
Who knows, here things change on a daily basis.

Depends on the base. If you're in a seasonal base like IWA or PGD, maybe LAX.. then quite likely while you're very junior. The other bases are not likely especially with hiring starting again.

To add to this, there are *usually* a decent amount of pilots that will voluntarily take the TDY, but unfortunately, there are still a few unlucky pilots that get involuntarily TDY'd out.
