Best part is, the guy gets a freq change, then calls back with a rediculous complaint, then after no one responds (can't imagine why) he calls back to see if anyone copied!!! It's funny but i feel guilty about laughing.

He is not on the APA list of active or retired American Airlines pilots.
I doubt an ex-AA pilot would do such a thing as tie up a radio frequency during an emergency.

besides compromising the safety during the emergency, he's also given GA pilots a bad name. imagine what the two Allegiant pilots, controller, or anyone else on the frequency was thinking while this guy complained about the poor vectoring? I can only hope all the witnesses to this incident understand that this guy represents what I hope to be a minority of GA pilots. All this guy sccomplished was to provide a good argument for user fees.

Ps

I have more 121 time than that (whatever that's supposed to prove), and you're wrong. Hope that helps.

757,

You're right the professionals at AA would never do that. But they do have more than their fair share of emergency landings from what I have read in USA Today.

11 years 121 time. That is sooooo impressive. Now one of my best friends is an F/O on 757/767 over at UPS. Classy laid-back guy. Guess you didn't get the memo
