Allegiant Bases

I guess the big appeal for allegiant is day trips. That sounds like a great QOL. I’m about to start a regional airline in two months. How long do you guys think it would take to get to F9/N6? I wouldn’t be opposed to them at all if it made sense. Thanks for the help guys.

Jdebrey, get on at G4 asap before the end of the year. That way you beat the Max’s arrival, thereby guaranteeing an A320 slot; you get to IWA or are in que for it. Management is planning to put the Max’s in mid-continent. I have a feeling the Max will go junior for new hires next year in order to sell the airbi type.

I would love that, but if I start at my regional in two months will I be qualified to get an interview with either F9 or allegiant by the end of the year?

It’ll depend on how much you fly and your other qualifications. I have a friend who was hired at a regional in August and either has already interviewed or has an interview scheduled with all 3.

Maybe things have changed, but I know with F9 going to a MTC or an in person event is a huge plus.

I currently have a 4 year degree, and have been a stage pilot for the 141 flight school I work at for about 2 years… hoping that might give me a little bit more of an advantage, but who knows. I will definitely consider your guys advice though.
For a pilot based out of Phoenix what do you think makes better sense for QOL? Frontier or allegiant?

These same conversations continue to come up. If you are going to commute, do not come here, it’s miserable. If you are from Allentown, Des Moine, Flint, or Appleton get your apps In immediately. You will also have a quick upgrade in those bases.
