I've been saying ATW for a while. Coast to coast flights, plus a bunch of pilots who already commute out of there. All the gates we want since it's only served by a few RJs a day.
FNT and RFD also strong contenders. SBN wouldn't surprise me. BLV had a setback but definitely not out of the game. After that, pick any city between the Mississippi and the Rockies that we have a lot of flights to, and flights to both coasts. All are fair game over the next few years. The recent investor conference and town hall showed they are very dedicated to to "mid continent strategy".

Can someone please explain to me why a new hire would come here knowing they will be based in Flint until some other ****hole opens that can entice enough people to bid it? I get that the airline is a business, but on some level you have to try and operate where enough employees will want to live. This isn’t like any other airline where you can simply rely on people commuting to the domicile. 🤯

Well think about it. Now we do red eyes… for straight pay. We open bases new hires must fill that aren’t commutable and without crash pads. We are the lowest paid Airbus operator in the USA with the most anti-labor management. We have 10 and 11 day off months on reserve while every other major airline is hiring.

Looks like 3 airplanes in Flint to start, that will be 17 new hires right there.
