actually all of the SAN routes are seasonal (misstep in my opinion, as SAN is a good vacation destination year round), it is SNA that has a lot of new year round routes.

bna only has 1 waiting, tys has 5 (!!!), Cvg has one. Two of the 5 bidding for TYS fo are BNA fos right now so that may make it easier to get into BNA than CVG. Of course everything will ultimately boil down to which fos choose to take upcoming upgrades or move to new bases.

So realistically if you started in August, you'd finish training in November and not fly planes out of VPS until April or May.

Commuting and LAS
Hello
After reading all posts here I just have 2 things that I want to make sure I got it right
First is that as trips start really early commuting is a problem if you don't live in your Base . Correct? I live in Portland so having a LAS as base could be a problem. Needing to commuting a day before and having a forever crashpad. Right?
Second is that I could not find lots of info about LAS besides being farly junior and spots available how are the flights out of there???
Thanks in advance

That is part of why this is a not a commuter friendly airline. Most flights are AM with really early starts or PMs with really late finishes. It is very rare that you can commute same day for a flight. You will definitely have to have some sort of crash pad.
LAS has almost any kind of flight that we do. It is lots of short flights (like LAS-FAT) and lots of long flights. (like LAS-MEM). As a junior pilot, you will probably do a lot of short four leg days (like LAS-FAT-LAS-SCK-LAS) or lots of redeyes.
