Default CVG

Does anyone know what the retirements of CVG look like? I知 interested in this base. I heard they hired some DHL guys when they first went tango uniform years ago, so I知 guessing they have a few approaching retirement. TIA.

Very few in any base are approaching retirement. This is a young pilot group. In addition the former DHL guys that I know here are not in CVG.

Ok thanks. That was stupid of me to assume they would be locals, lol.

I am sure this is very premature, but got emailed that they might start class dates later this year (subject to change of course)

currently employed, so now the brainstorming starts... chances of FLL after training? Given an early next year arrival? Thank you guys for the answer to such a vague question!

FLL was offered to new hires in the final classes that came on last spring. However now with pilots coming back from furlough and vacancies having staggered openings, no one really knows what will / is available. The fact that it was offered as a new hire base last year should make it seem pretty attainable when hiring does resume.

How is seniority and chances of getting GRR for a new hire? In the hiring pool and wondering how GRR is for its pilots as far as reserve and upgrade projections.

Super junior, likely available in any new hire class for some time. Upgrade is possible but in order for that to happen the company will have to increase its flying/airplanes/pilots by 80-100% and GRR will have to grow by 50-70%. Too many variables to say if or when. Company wants to add 3 domiciles a year going forward and minimum 15% growth. Maybe you can roughly extrapolate from that.

If you seriously want to make GRR your #1 choice of base you should probably work here as it is a junior and likely transient base. You might even find yourself a Captain in GRR quicker then you think.

For the more senior bases, some might find themselves as a career FO.

Not too senior but not the least senior either.
