Getting close to Allegiant’s mins and plan to apply when I’m eligible. I’m hoping to stay in Ohio and was wondering what the outlook on the CVG base is? How senior is it? Is it possible to be awarded out of training?

I know there’s a lot that has to happen between now and then for me to get there, but trying to get a feeler of where my next steps might be.

Supposedly CVG will be the third base for the 737, so there might be some growth there starting early 2025. For now you would probably get the usual senior Allegiant base new hire experience: 5 months commuting, then dead last in CVG for a few months, then second from the bottom etc...CVG is senior but we have consistent junior FO turnover that will help you get to about the 65% FO seniority point after a few years. If we get a contract that may slow down some.

What do you think about CBA? Will it be signed soon, or do you glimpse a delay?

Not even close to signing a CBA. Best case would be around a year, more likely to be in the 2-3 year timeframe.

You might find other opinions but I think Slade reflects the majority opinion.

I had hoped for a TA by December, but so far there is no hint of any real progress coming from the union or management. I'd say it's pretty clear we won't have anything by then.

As the others said, CBA is not remotely close, so do not bet on getting it as a reason to come. No new sections have been agreed on in months, and we have yet to even start Neg on any of the normal hard sections like scope, pay, scheduling, Vacation, Retirement, and Medical. Pretty much anything that adds a cost to the company has yet to be even really talked about.
I would plan 2-3 years and if it come sooner then that a plus

didn't you go to mediation a couple months ago? does the 2-3 year projection include requesting to be released in the meantime?
