We will know where this is heading in two weeks. Time is running out if AK truly doesnt want this to go to arbitration. My best guess is that we will se the results in the second week of October.

Alaska has a lot of needs right now if it wants to grow.....more sims...bigger buildings. That growth benefits most everyone in the long run. All I'm saying is to make Big airline $$$, we need Big airlines infrastructure and equipment (read: more). Already probably getting a good pay raise in the fall. How much of an increase in wages scares you into thinking it will stunt AS's growth potential? All I'm saying is if we get too much we are literally anchoring the growth potential of our jobs. And again, I can't wait for the much needed pay raise.

So how much of a pay increase would worry you about having a job in the future given the history of the industry? Sure you "got yours" in the short term....but is there a long term? Can we compete and grow as an airline (without mounds of dept) with equal compensation (compared to bigger airlines) to employees?
