Every class has a different drop. It seems like each class is normally getting some of all the bases, but a few classes have been all to SEA/PDX due to the growth there. Also, we are having bids every few months, and almost everyone is getting to where they want to go then. So, at worst, it seems folks can get to where they want to go with only a couple of months of having to commute.

The last one just closed last month, so my guesstimate (based on the last few rounds) is another window will open this fall.

So is "no news, good news"? Haven't heard anything at all. What should I expect? I guess I assumed I'd hear a yay or nay by now. Then I get this paranoid feeling that they never got my app.

I'm right there with you! I walked way from women in aviation feeling great and nothing. 6800 total time with 750 Tpic. Just keep plugging away!

Can anyone confirm the recruiters will be at the Alaska airmen show in May?

Just going to ask straight up... How realistic is a week on/week off type schedule? Qualifier is...as a junior FO?

Thanks everybody.

Unrealistic. As a junior FO, the longest stretch you'll get off is five days in a row. That's as a reserve FO. Once you can hold a line, you could potentially bid for a stretch of days that back up to a stretch of days in the following bid. If this is that important to you, you might want to consider something like NetJets or an air ambulance type gig. Hope this helps!

To add to what Desert wrote, the minimum we have to fly each month is 75 to 78 depending on the month. You would have to be in the top half, if not top third to bid a line that is set up to essentially be 3 or 4 on/4 or 3 off each week and trade to cram almost 40 hours of flying into two 7 day periods. You might be able to do it on occasion, but you would be hard pressed to make it a monthly habit.
