Can anyone recommend a place to review interview gouge for Alaska airline? I came across some from years ago but nothing recent.

Rainier Flight Service at Renton field

This is your best bet for prep. I wasn't really able to find much online.

Not to dispute my brother CassinAK, but I and several of my other new hire friends used Lori Clark at Airline Pilot Interview Preparation.

BUT regardless of who you use, the more important thing is to do interview prep. Don't just look for the gouge, as the questions will change, and they aren't necessarily looking for a "correct" answer but YOUR answer. Interview prep will help you be able to handle ANY question.

Also, just heard that the Alaska Airmen's Trade show the first weekend of May up here in ANC will be a hiring event, in other words, they will be conducting day one interviews... Hope to see you there. Stop by the Alaska Wing Commemorative Air Force warbirds/booth on Saturday, and I will be there.

I will second the post for Raineir Flight Services in Renton. They know all the key players, personalities, culture, etc. Their prepatory packet was 100%, spot on.

I also recommend Emerald Coast Interview prep. They do a great job explaining the question behind the question. Oh, and their database of trip reports is worth the price of admission alone.

You can't over prepare when it comes to these interviews that can change your financial position by millions of dollars over a career. Get an interview coach or two...I know, personally that guys like Nick Saban use interview coaches before even speaking to prospective schools or organizations...best of luck!

I used Centerline Prep. Their prep packet was very detailed, and they did a great job preparing me mentally. Whatever you do, use the prep service. It is a lot more than just reading the gouge.

Thank you for all the suggestions! I don't have a interview, but if I get one I'm planning on going to Rainer flight service. I was just searching around trying to learn the process.

!
I can vouch for Emerald Coast, they were great. I hope to hit a few more of their seminars too, once you've paid for the first, you're welcome back at any following. I did the phone interview with them, specifically for Alaska. They don't have a lot of experience with Alaska, compared to other airlines, but they were very helpful.

I may do Rainer too before making my final push for Alaska.

I did ATC at Boeing Field airport and I would NOT recommend them. I got the job luckily.
