I think it is pretty safe to say that you keep throwing WAGs that directly contradict what upper management is saying. You might end up guessing correctly but that is nothing more than a guess.

HA has literally resumed hiring of those in the pool.

I know this is confusing and I can sense your butthurt from here. Just want to clear up that I literally said not sure about the HA side but its safe to say the AS side wont hire for all of 2025. This is the Alaska Air Hiring thread after all...

Guess what bud, HA hiring IS AS hiring. In case you didn't know, we bought them, and it is a done deal. Those pilots will be below you in seniority and will further pad you on the seniority list. Again, an email from DM himself said potentially the second half of 2025. Boeing workers have a TA. Your BS guesses aren't matching with reality. But again, I invite you to take over the all pilot calls, since you know more than management.

And to be 100% clear. You aren't sure about anything, because you have no idea.

Oh he’s sure. He’s the most sure. He’s more sure than anyone in the history of being sure.

We'll see how the vote on the TA goes next week.

Sorry, that really sucks to hear the company is doing that. Garbage.
Yup, exactly. I was fortunate enough to go to UAL earlier this year. But I know of people who were overjoyed to get the CJO at AS (one even turned down a CJO at another carrier) who now have to re-interview for AS (sigh).

Seems like the only way to get hired at AS right now is to have an HA CJO. If you don't have that you'll likely need to wait until 2026 to get hired onto the 737 side of the operation. That's a lot of seniority to give up at a different airline. I was hired onto the Airbus side back in 2018 even though AS had already aquired VX so I'm well versed in being hired when two airlines have merged. The difference between then and now is AS was actually hiring people during 2018 onto the 737.

Must be a good company. You gave up the big 3 for AS when all were hiring. Id gather anyone wanting AS today are for the same reasons you are still at AS.
