It did. It wasn't open long.

It did just open - 9 days ago. It closed just last night.

I closed the 18th so it will open again in 6-8 months. Of course this is a guess.

But probably a good guess given that the previous two openings were August of 2014 and December of 2013.

Those who have applications on file get notification to reapply via email. But if you don't have that or the benefit of someone at Alaska to provide timely notification, you might try LinkedIn. The last two times the window opened, Alaska showed up in the daily list of job openings I get from LinkedIn.

I'd really love to get the call from Alaska so that I can make all of those various job notifications stop.

To those that have applied....

If you log in to your profile on the Alaska jobs website and click the link to your accepted/unaccepted applications, does anything appear?

I can see my resume/cover letter that I uploaded, but my application for the position of First Officer is gone, as is the link to look at my application for First Officer.

Just curious....

It defaults to applications "in the last week"......I reset mine to "in the last month" & my app. appeared & is shown as "Applied".

After a window closes, how soon do calls start going out for interviews? What has been the trend from years past, AS pilots?

Thanks!

At the Northwest Aviation Trade Show, which was at the end of February, the recruiter told me that they were scheduling interviews for April/May/June, and calls would be going out within about four weeks. So I'd imagine that a good number of those interviews will be scheduled by the end of next week.

Do they typically open up the window around the WIA/OBAP conventions?

The window typically opens a few months prior to AS starting the hiring process. I don't think it has anything to do with WAI or OBAP.
