Sorry my only stand out OTZ moments are:
Heckling FOs online about how they were about to lose their jobs come October 2020
We are getting bought by SWA
We are getting bought by UAL
Panic dumping BTC
Betting the farm on Roku (lol)
Shorting the market
49 787s by 2030. A 5X increase in production
I don't really even know what you're referring to this time nor do I recall what you were predicting back in January. Pretty sure you were pumping downgrades when the door popped of 704AL.
I'm going to sleep so I don't really care to dig up that post.

Right now upgrade is:
LAX 8 ANC 7 PDX 7 SEA 6 SFO 6
Right now 2024 looks slow, 2025 looks slow… best guess 2026 will have significant movement.
For everyone right now at AS that is not currently a captain, it sure looks like 8 years to upgrade, by 2027, I would guess upgrade will be in the neighborhood of 6.5 years again. For anyone hired this spring, I would guess two years of RSV and a 6.5 year upgrade. Grade it all in 2030
When was this posted… EILs and VRBOs have saved backward movement… embarrassing… like you are 4 year olds

quick and dirty notes I took away Pilot call notes
HA merger news not sure how long it’ll take no timeline no idea
Flyaways still in beta testing no timing on when it will go public to the pilot group
11 planes this year Maybe 4 more
Hiring no pistol buds this year - maybe a bid to rebalance sfo FOs no. Would add vacancies sfo fo vaccines
Hiring sometime next year later rather than sooner
No sfo downgrades
New PCA hoses in Seattle - supposed to help airflow
New planes next year high 20s to low 30s but Boeing delivery delays they don’t know how many we will actually get next year
Old leather will not be allowed and old VX will not be allowed with the new uniforms
Anc jfk according to DM was a success story. No cancelations no need to bump pax or bags
Profitable route
Brightline bags will be allowed the no color zipper intent was to not allow the VX bag with red zipper

not give you guys the entire uniforms kit make you buy your own pants. Union will say you have to provide it- court will side with the union and company will have to let you wear your pants unless they wanna pay for them (they won’t) and them complain we don’t all look uniform and complain that “they don’t wear the uniform the Alaska way”

they’re gonna do what they did to VX…

It was a very comfortable era... wear whatever black pants and white shirt you wanted, with an AS clip on tie.
If you were VX and really wanted the legacy AS uniform (hat aficionados?) you were free to buy it.
But this was during a period when they were rolling out a new uniform (which dragged out for years), so it didn't make sense to issue the legacy uniform. Also the AS contract at the time didn't provide for uniform allotment, and VX didn't have a contract so there wasn't a clear CBA mechanism. That's fixed with the new 2024 uniform.
