even if it was good news what guarantee do we have the good news will actually come to pass? I recall multiple threads and articles talking about crazy hiring number predictions from various airlines. Then they never hire anywhere close to that at the end of the year.
hiring happens when it happens and stops when it stops. The people that make those decisions do so with information that can and does change.

I don't care what I'm flying as long as the outlook is good. Not too sure about that.
I'm still trying to figure out why so many coworkers are celibrating the straight 900s going away. Each one is 2 less pilot seats. At best the MAX 9s are a replacement. Worse Boeing can't meet delivery timetables.

So there is a recording of the call on teams. I listened to the call and the exact wording for hiring was late in the year 2025 and quarter 4 of 2025. It was said hiring was "possible."
There will be no upgrade or position bids in 2024 or 2025. There could be a bid to rebalance the FOs in SFO. There will be no reduction bids.
According to the call 11 MAXs have been delivered in 2024. There could be more one response was 4 more and another was 5.
*Keep in mind this is my interpretation of the questions asked on the call.
