There will probably be some of that due to the new contract, but this is not an AS-unique phenomenon. Some X% of FO's delay upgrade, some of them never bother... if you don't actually need the money the QOL hit is immense.

I believe SEA is where the junior CA plug is. Several got displaced out of SFO.

SFO Airbus in March and LAX Airbus tbd. If there are no captain vacancies on the Boeing the Airbus guys can go any place their seniority holds, potentially causing downgrades.
