What I do is write often in long posts which represent my take on the topic. It is met - in your case - with ad hominem attacks without even touching the subject at hand or the points I brought up. My response about needing a carebear or a hug was because you just don't sound like you're in a good place. It was an observation. You're just mad now because I am not taking your ad hominem bait multiple times.

It's not ad hominem to question the qualifications of the author, especially when all of his conclusions are so heavily influenced by his worldviews.
