[QUOTE=Cazadores;3429148]Hehe, yeah.

You just said you doubted a major cares, Delta seems to care for some reason.

Alaska seems to not care.

Alaska doesn’t care because not many want to go to Alaska.
Basic supply & demand.

if you’re away from your comfort zone (home), get paid the most.
Alaska pays the least.

I was literally told on my phone interview no need to bring your logbook. Honestly who cares it's pretty easy to see if someone is qualified by a resume and PRIA. If you lied we can find out.

If they’re not asking for them don’t bring them. Why would we ask for a reason to not hire you… that’s why there’s no need for logbooks at this stage.

Directly from one of our Chief pilots. “We really aren’t looking for anyone under 3000 hours, unless they had a fair amount of turbine PIC”

Whole person concept plays a big role, volunteer work, education can help for those under 3,000TT.

A chief pilot also told my buddy during a meet and greet that he needed more TPIC to be competitive. My friend had just over 8000 hours, was at ExpressJet since 2007, and was a captain there when they closed their doors. But he only had around 500TPIC. This was about 6months ago.. curious what he would say to him now during a meet and greet. My friend went to Spirit, and I told him he is better off there, as far as work rules and QOL issues go.

There are plenty of FOs with zero PIC and minimum hours getting hired right now. Same as everywhere else.
