I too welcome someone who's left to come back and post about the differences at their new airline. It would be very helpful to get an actual comparison but we rarely get that around here. We only get guys that come back on to remind us they've left and continue their AS bashing. Doesn't help those on the fence trying to decide their future. Ala5ka is the first one I've seen, leave and then not only give zero insight on how his life has improved, but actually pretend to still be employed by AS. All just so he can bash with authority?? With his very anti AS post history, it would seem he would jump at the chance to highlight the QOL improvements after leaving.... What a waste of a resource. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the whole thing and Ala5ka is still employed here but if not, what a joke.

BT was trying to push a HAL purchase late last fall, when the boards final vote broke “NO”, he walked. Even BM broke with BT and voted against, he really thinks one day he will run AAL😂. SWA got wind ALK was shopping and went over our books and made an offer, a weak offer but an offer none the less. JBLU’s offer to buy NK, required AS to explore a merger, this has went nowhere based on AS being dug in on brand and control. I was told AS was set to make a cash offer for JBLU until their Spirit offer was rejected. I was told PB has become chairman to explore the potential sale of AS. Recently, I have seen some things that made me confident a bigger fish has approached AS. I am reading tea leaves but am confident who the whale is.

I was told by someone else BM wants to go it alone and if we fail that the shareholders are protected by OneWorld and AAL. If we were to fail on our own, we would just fold into AAL. That same person said BM is intent on not giving us contract, ever. He believes he will force his proposal down our throats when the economic tables turn. In the mean time he will use the savings provided by us working under our current contract to establish long term deals with other labor groups. He is also confident we will be parked for 6 MO’s starting in June.🙄

And ah, maybe just go to UAL, I wouldn’t want anyone to go to an airline based on merger speculation. I would not come to AS, I would go to the best company that works best for that individual pilot. Now is the time, you really could go anywhere you want right now, why settle.

Someone will buy AS eventually. Even though you said SWA is died I feel like they would
Make a offer if anyone makes a move on AS that’s better then before.

Don't you have a book report or some algebra to be working on?

Why do you bother to even write this trash? You are constantly wrong with the rare exception of things everybody knows is coming. Go check your bitcoin fortune and stop pretending to know more than the average line pilot.

Unless you are BM, BT, or anyone on the BOD you are truly talking out of your posterior. Those kind of details don’t just leak out.

Let's say, for arguments sake, 100% of this is true. Why wouldn't you wait to see if what you "hear", goes beyond the rumor phase, before you start dropping it on the group like it's gospel?? Do you maybe see why you've lost credibility here? You are essentially a "gossip". You hear something, then rush to whisper it into the nearest set of ears, not waiting to see if what you've heard has legs. I think it would behoove you to let the next hot tip, simmer in the pot a little longer before you dish it out to the pilot group....because as it stands you're 0-3 on MnA predictions.

You write like you have a drinking problem. I don't blame you though, it must be tough dealing with the fact that you will forever be commuting from the PNW.

That’s not how these things work. They’re not crew-room “rumors,” but legitimate business dealings…and a deal can go south faster than you can hit TOGA. If you can’t believe there hasn’t been a flurry of M&A talk amongst all the smaller airlines, you have to learn to think outside the cockpit.

EXACTLY MY POINT!!!! These things can or cannot happen in the blink of an eye so it would be pretty effin stupid for someone to say things like, "done in three weeks," "done by the end of summer", "we'll be wearing different uniforms soon" etc., etc. BECAUSE HE DOESN'T FRIGGIN KNOW HOW ANY OF THIS WILL TURN OUT....But thanks for proving my point
