ROTFLMAO. Status quo? Seriously?
I don't mean to rib ya but there's no such thing in this industry. Alaska is talking growth and hiring but they have been for the last 20 years. And now Delta is making a play for Seattle. Anything can happen.
Your question is not answerable.

OE complete! (For the Delta guys who lurk on our Alaska forums, I flew into JNU 3x on OE ... my last time the other day had JAWS reports of Severe and fog below 100' down the entire runway except the first 1000' or so. Wisely, my Capt did the landing, but still a good experience!)
For those of you trying to get hired here, stay persistent. Have a pilot you know take you to meet one of the chief pilots. This is a great place to fly, good training and instruction, everyone I've met enjoys working for the company, and all the instructors are here to help you get through training.

CP pre-interview
Just got done with a pre-interview with one of the Seattle CPs yesterday. Has anyone heard of people getting an invitation to the 2-day interview after one of these "meet and greets"? If so, how long did it take to get the invite?

Hi all. Just wondering if it is worth it to go to the NW career forum in Puyallup to meet Alaska guys/gals? I'm a 7 year regional FO with not much hope in sight of making capt anytime soon. Over 4k TT and 3300 turbine. I don't know if there is any credit to showing up to their events. I know they don't go to many.
Thanks
Thanks
