The company announced a new once daily flight to Cleveland!!! How exciting.
way cooler than the announcement United made that they were increasing their daily London flights by 22 flights per day.. this just a couple weeks after announcing a ton of new international routes.
But we get Cleveland!!

The company announced a new once daily flight to Cleveland!!! How exciting.
way cooler than the announcement United made that they were increasing their daily London flights by 22 flights per day.. this just a couple weeks after announcing a ton of new international routes.
But we get Cleveland!!

You do realize, you work for Alaska airlines. We have zero wide bodies and you are comparing us to United and they have like 200 wide bodies. This is equally embarrassing.

Ah… “increasing their London flights by 22 flights per day” well that’s embarrassing 😳…. I believe increasing by five flights a day to a total of 22 flights per day. Which is awesome for them or anyone.
You do realize, you work for Alaska airlines. We have zero wide bodies and you are comparing us to United and they have like 200 wide bodies. This is equally embarrassing.

And please don't try to lump this at the feet of the L-VX pilots. Your ignorance about industry standards doesn't mean that we're wrong to be dissatisfied. Thankfully, more and more are informing themselves to the shortcomings.

I’m so sorry the numbers are off… 22 flights to any single destination far surpasses anything this junker airline does.
my point is the company is tooting their own horn over a daily round trip to Cleveland.. when other airlines are rapidly expanding… we are the daily round trip to Cleveland airline. That’s awesome

You have a right to want better. You should want more, you deserve better. I just hate whining and gross exaggeration. I think when the contract is done, most will be very happy. It will get a lot worse though before it gets better. Relax and enjoy the ride.

You can choose to compare ALK to UAL, but you will only be disappointed. We are so much different then they are. You can and should compare our scope, narrow body rates, and work rules. Given time those water lines will be very similar.

Hey you heard it from OTZ Eagle himself: You should just be happy they didn’t give CLE to SkyWest! No comparisons. Don’t tell me about other airlines. You’re lucky we don’t layoff our FOs seasonally anymore.
