Because they are stupid. They are too busy posting arbonne videos on Instagram than to have the slightest interest in their career.
This drives me nuts more and more. On the AS Facebook group, on Alaskaworld and on the line. I love our in-flight crew members. I highly respect them and I consider us all part of the team. However, most of them are fresh out of college, or worked at Hot Topic before getting a job here, and they have no idea what’s going on. I am tired of seeing how cool it is to see our flying and jobs eroding. Hell, they are happy to see their own jobs and flying being transferred to the 175 and for the life of me I can’t figure out why they do that.

To call our inflight team “stupid” is unfair. Uneducated on the subject? Absolutely. Let’s all make sure we do our part and bring them up to speed and help them realize this affects their careers as well.

The InFlight crew that have a real contract with real work rules, real pay and real teeth in it that force the circus clowns to really follow it. Gotcha

There are two QX FA comments back to back they are pure cringe. This happens with pilots and mainline, but people need to educate themselves with history of the industry they’re in. AAG Kool-Aid is by far the worst in the industry.

They'd feel differently if the company started an alter f/a list at Horizon on a B scale wage then started contracting out their jobs.
