Allegiant would like a word. Management dropped the ball and didn't reserve the Vegas sims before Allegiant grabbed all the slots.

Based on the number of retirements and projected upgrades with the vacancy bid, I’d imagine upgrade time will be trending up as opposed to down?

Yeah I think this bid will probably go very junior, and start trending up from here, albeit slowly. Junior captain is a miserable existence here…

The wildcard is scope.

If our flying keeps going to Horizon and SkyWest upgrade times will not improve.

As of today there has been no indication that we will not continue to lose our flying to regional airlines.

Airbus CA will go junior, much more junior than Boeing. Those already displaced off Boeing don't have any incentive to bid back Airbus and go through another 2-3 month training cycle. And those who do bid Airbus must know they’ll be displaced in 12-18 months.

You guys really think this bid will actually happen? Southwest is already reporting bookings are falling off, yeah I know end of summer and all, but unfortunately with cases on the rise and the media frothing at the mouth over covid again, I don’t see Alaska following through with this bid.
