That's the junior system wide Captain. It always is. The good news is that's down from the 11-12 years it has been in the recent past.

Thanks. I would assume that it would keep crawling its way down due to retirements unless an odd event happens such as 2001 or 2008.

It should. A lot of the post-Age 60 guys are approaching 65 now. Unless the law changes soon, they'll be going. Additional good news is AS is expanding the flying to counter DL and that means more upgrades and more hiring.

In the near term, things are looking good for upgrading and hiring at AS.

I'm attempting to apply and running into the same issue that was mentioned before. I attempt to submit and it says that I must answer all questions. After checking my application about 15 times, I am confident that I have answered all of the questions, including putting "N/A" in boxes. Anybody got a fix? I've tried it on Internet Explorer (as recommended), Safari, Fire Fox, and Chrome, no dice.

Putting NA in the boxes worked for me. I also deleted my education history and rewrote it... Not sure which one made it work, but those are my only suggestions.

Disregard my previous post. To anybody else who runs into the issue of not being able to submit due to not answering all of the questions: I just deleted my old app and started a new one and it allowed me to submit.
