To be fair on AirlineApps, you can choose an option for one free app. The cost is when you want to apply to multiple airlines, or want to renew your free app after one year. But you can create new single apps for free.
Airline Applications
Airline Applications
Then after the first year it locked both accounts. I was forced to either pay for both accounts or pay for one and lose the letters of rec I had on the other account. The last thing you want to do is ask guys to resubmit a letter of rec after they already did you a big favor in writing you one.

Just did the on-line app on the website.
Hope this isn't a dumb question but the application asks how many "training failures" one has had.
Is a failed check ride a "training failure" in their minds???

Bad idea. I was a cheapskate who thought he was so smart by making two free accounts on airline apps. I made accounts for each airline and had letters of recommendation on both.

If you are doing two apps at the same time for free, they have to be created under separate accounts and then updated separately and are both good for one year. After that, you have to re-apply or pay on both accounts to activate them further.

Is it the question that asks not to include Private through CFI right?

If you are at a regional, then there is not much of a QOL question. If one west coast carrier is commutable, then the other can't too far of a stretch either.
