Default New SEA (base) chief pilot.

If you've been to a job fair you've probably met Carlos Zendejas. He is now one of two Chiefs for the Seattle base. Looking for a reason to touch base and get your name back in front of some influential eyes? Send him some congratulations.

It's not that hard if you can answer: Mary is sitting next to Steve, Steve is wearing shorts, Sally is eating a steak, the roof is orange, what color is the sky?

You mean to tell me that NOT knowing how many apples Suzie had leftover from Johnny's picnic means you're not qualified to be in the cockpit??

can anyone comment on how alaskas hiring has looked for the past several years? did they hire pilots in the 2008-2010 recession and also approx how many pilots hired each year from 2007-2016?

Ok so I spoke with a newhire ground instructor and apparently my previous statement is incorrect. There WILL be classes this summer. I'm not sure if this has changed or if my earlier info was wrong. I try not to post stuff on here unless I'm confident in my source. Anyway, guess that's a good thing, right?

So I've been told that the window at Alaska will not open again, but rather they will be making calls for interviews from the SmartRecruiters website. As a result they advise people to update their info on their often. Can anyone tell me how to update your info? Since the time I first registered I haven't found anyway to update my profile. Maybe I'm a little slow, but I've gone over every inch of the site and can't find a way to update my information. Any help is appreciated...thanks!

As far as I can tell the only way to update is to reenter everything again. I am not at all confident that the hiring team at Alaska and Smart Recruiters are "on the same page"
