Given that we will vote no on PBS in 2018, I would imagine that Virgin will line for line match the current Alaska contract.

Anyone who has interviewed recently. What is everyone wearing to the interview. I have always heard not to wear a tie. But the interview email says dress now is business professional? Can anyone help me on this matter. Thabks

No. There's a separate negotiating process for Scheduling items outside the JCBA. It'll cover reserve rules and other items.

That process was supposed to be going on parallel to JCBA talks. From what I understand, no major discussions are taking place. There's no definitive timeline except as soon as possible after a SOC.

Do not wear a tie.

I don't know if labrina is active or what her role is the pilot recruiter I've spoken with is from Alaska but dealing with virgin. That's why I am confused on dress for the interview because it used to be no tie. But now the email says dress is business professional which to me means a suit.

That would make perfect sense if AS has taken over the hiring at VX. Business professional does not mean business casual. I believe the VP of Ops is the former AS CP, a secondary reason why the change makes sense.

I'd say wear the suit.. it says business professional. The VX way of doing things is gone.

The process has changed. The email said Business Professional, which means suit and tie. I confirmed this with the recruiting coordinator and she said to wear a suit and tie, and that this interview group is the first for which that is required. Alaska is taking over the interview process, and a suit and tie is what they expect.

My email said business attire and nobody wore a tie. This was end of last year.
