Fine. If you get turned down after the PQ, its because of an answer you wrote on your PQ. Is that better?

Am I wrong telling you that the company already has access to your flight hours before the PQ goes out? Is it not safe to assume that your answer on the PQ is what makes them say TBNT or when can you interview? Why would they waste time sending you an PQ if you they didnt like your flight time and have no intention of hiring you in the first place? Its not a computer that shoots emails to random candidates. It's done by actual HR people.

And you are not one of those HR people. So you have no idea what happened. It's bad form to suggest that if he had only obsessed a little more about a simple paragraph he'd have got an interview. Dont make half ass conjectures that are going to make a guy looking for his dream job crazy.

Figured I was a little low on the TT. No Turbine PIC didn't help either.
Tough break! Anyone else out there with responses from HR from the 4/14 questionnaire.... Best of luck to you!

Anyone have leads on where to stay during indoc/systems? Is Airbnb the best bet or does one of the hotels (preferably on airport blvd) have a VX discount?

Hotels in sfo are very pricy. Even if you can find an airline rate it will still probably be over $100 per night. There was a discount set up with some place by moffet field a while back.

People sometimes split Red Roof Inn(we have a crew rate less than 100/night). Crashpad is cheaper but limited availability right now. Air bnb can work but you'll probably need a car and a few people interested.

Two quick questions folks,

A) How senior is JFK on the right seat?

B) How long has reserve been in JFK on the right seat as of late?

Thanks!

You can most likely get it out of class our within a couple base bids...but it is pretty much a one in, one out situation...but once you get in, its that sinking feeling of why did i wait in that line to come into this nightclub when there are no chicks because the flying isn't very diverse and you will be on reserve for a long time

B) How long has reserve been in JFK on the right seat as of late?Guy are still on reserve there from the last hiring wave in 2016. I think on our last base bids, 3 new hires transferred to west coast bases--and from what I understand they were all guys who wanted JFK.

Thanks!

I guess we'll find out soon if the jfk base stays open. I hope it does but I don't think Alaska is giving us any hope
