Looks like you guys will keep your more comfortable Airbuses for a few extra years - enjoy the comfy cockpit while you can :

If I get the interview/offer, I would love to take a JFK slot off their hands haha

I think seniority within a class is random.

On a side note, the term "drops" is weird. What does it really mean? Why can't pilots just ask questions normally without special terminology!

The illusion of professionalism. I'm an old hick that lacks it, only drop I know is the rod into the lake.

I agree, I only used it because that is what everyone else has used to define it. It makes no sense to me.

Question to anyone. Is VX still on their pay scale or have they incorporated AK's after the merger? I realize the merger is still in progress.

Virgin is still on the same pay scale and will never see Alaska's current pay scale. When the joint agreement is done, everyone will be paid the same, hopefully much higher rates.

We will be on the same new pay rates by the end of the year.

That article was back on Apr 2. Motley Fool is just an analyst guy with his thoughts/opinions. He owns shares of ALG and discloses as such.

Thanks for the response, I figured that was the case but wanted to see if I that was correct.
