When I interviewed on April 6th, the number was 121. They said our group, if hired, would be in the 30's out of the 121.

Yes 121 newhires planned for this year.

In March, April, and May total class newhires = 48

I don't recall what January and February had, but there were newhires then too. Even if there was one class each for Jan and Feb, that would be approx ~16.

Through end of May we have about ~64 newhires in class YTD.

Any news?

I answered the email with the pilot questionnaire last month and still have not heard anything. Received an offer from another LCC to start In June.

Hoping to hear back soon so I can make final decision.

Has anyone else heard back one way or the other?

What the word on the JFK base? Can anyone shed any light or is the old news still the same? Are they growing the base, how senior is it?

No word on it. It seems to be capped at 57 CAs and 57 FOs. When the base first officially opened in Dec 2013 it was 50 each. Unless they grow the base, someone has to bid out for another person to get in. New hires from this hiring round did get NY.

how long can one expect to be on reserve in LA? I heard it has previously been rather stagnant, but with all the hiring going on, is there some movement there now or is it all occurring in SFO?
