Thanks. So looking at the numbers on APC, second year would be around $85k-$90k.

Right now, and this of course will change like the tide, but right now, sitting reserve is only about a month or 2 in SFO. I think there are 13 lines for FO in June, maybe 14. I was in a class of 8, there was a class of 14 behind me, and another class of 8 behind them so you can see how quickly you will be off reserve.

I am very interested in a career with Virgin (& AAG) and am looking to make the jump from Corporate. I have done as much research as I can to make myself knowledgeable on how things work in the 121 world but still have a few unanswered questions. Hoping the experience on here can help.

What kind of cell phone reimbursement policy, if any, does Virgin/Alaska have? Is there an industry standard for 121 carriers?

Do they reimburse commuters for airport parking when on a trip?

Only if movement continues. We had fos on reserve for over 2.5 years up until 2016.

100%

As soon as the hiring stops, when the musical chairs stops, those will be on reserve until more get hired. It sounds like we will be hiring through summer which is good.

Read through this:

If your answers are not contained in the literature, then you have answered your own questions.

Not much attrition. I think we've had 2 retirements so far this year and I haven't heard of any fo's leaving in a while.

There is no industry standard on that in 121, and Alaska does not reimburse you for phone or for parking out of base as a commuter.

In my charter/corporate life I was reimbursed for both. Just different worlds.
