I don't know who's not flying much. I've been on reserve as a captain for 6 months and in that time I have worked every day except 3. Of course they've worked me into my days off 4 times in those same 6 months. My credit for December is over 95 hours. New Year's Eve there was not a single captain reserve available to the entire company. There are 5 new airplanes already on the property. So far there have been 7 upgrades for those 5 aircraft. That does not include the 1 captain retirement and 2 that have left for other jobs. 4 captains for 5 aircraft is just stupid and we crews are paying for that stupidity.

300-400 hrs was normal....was. But everything changed about a month ago. The wheels are coming off and it's a complete s--t show right now. Reserve captains fly more than reserve fo's. They ran out of ca reserves a few days ago, and some mgmt pilots are being forced to fly. Our 5th new plane is online and the hiring/upgrading hasn't caught up. The first class from nov just hit the line. Line holders are being screwed and some are getting worked into days off. Once the hiring catches up I expect this place to return to its previous stagnant and stale state.

5 Internal recs, 1 previous interview, 3 CP questionaires, west coast guy, 18, yes, 18 apps over the years and nothing. Always thought the CP questionnaire thought you were moving along in the process. Sad part is, I truly believed in the brand at one point.
