Agreed.

If you wanna enter the Widebody gates,
You gotta be prepared to pay the Widebody rates.

I'm much more concerned about getting the 330 and 787 payrates up to Delta/United/American during the JCBA. Those are pretty big numbers and I don't know how Alaska Management is going to feel about that.
Not sure where you got the numbers for your example.

Captain AS 737 vs HA 321
Alaska year 11 and up 1 Sep 25 is 375.74
Hawaiian 12 2 Mar 25 is 355.85 ...a difference of $19.89

FO AS 737 vs HA 321
Alaska year 11 and up 1 Sep 25 is 259.75
Hawaiian 12 2 Mar 25 is 248.38 ...a difference of $11.37

I would say Gobows was spot on.

Now do it at the end of both contracts...

So, you are comparing AS 2026 numbers to HA 2027 numbers? I see where you got your numbers now. I hope we can have a JCBA before 2027 and it won't matter.

Easy yes vote but it is always fun to see people lose their minds over something pretty simple.

I used 2026 since that’s the only fair way to compare.

let's not forget or discount the 717 landing credits. If you were hired into the wide body I'd forgive your ignorance.

Our 717 brethren get paid an additional 6 minutes every time they manage to successfully land the airplane.

How many legs/day on average? That doesn’t seem like it would amount to much. 5ish hours/month?
