Default Our first 787

Exciting times with our (Hawaiians) first 787 arriving on property last night. Hopefully Alaska is able to grow the WB side…

Probably should wait until DOJ approves the merger before we start poppin' bottles?

It seems highly likely it will be approved. The market is placing a 80% chance of approval at this point.

Yes, this is quite different than B6/NK.

And the admin appears to have shot it's silver airline-killing bullet... assuming NK files Ch.11 (looking more likely than not), it's not going to be a good look at all for the WH to cut the lifeline for the home-town airline in a deep-blue state.

Only one silver bullet? Does NK need to file chapter 11 to justify the Alaska/Hawaiian merger?

Curious as Hawaiians CEO publicly stated we can survive independently, can the company argue the opposite through their own private filings? JetBlue/Spirit keep insisting everything is fine publicly when they clearly .
