Is the A330NEO still a thing? Isn't the A330 and A350 the same type rating?
Something no one seems to be considering is the possibility of getting cheap A330's that are not selling well with the option to upgauge to a A350 if required and unloading high value 787 slots. Heard this on a flight deck the other day. Thought it was interesting. Kind of sounds like something AAG would do.

Kick boeing to the curb in a huge way? I don't know if they're quite ready for that yet, but maybe. Ben was clearly not happy about Portland: Max Grounding the Sequel.

That would be my take. The eastern commuters are accustomed to the old LCR with limited conversions.

The retirement wave won't last forever, so they probably jusy have to power through another 4-5 years.

It wouldn’t be kicking Boeing to the curb, they couldn’t afford to do that. My total WAG is it depends on how PO’d they are at Boeing over the last fiasco. How many more times can they afford to let Boeing mess their plans up?

Even Southwest is looking at diversification through acquisition. How much are Boeing IOUs worth until it becomes clear there is a case of Stockholm Syndrome.
