Yes, I would expect the DOJ to be consistent in their review process a precedent has been set. There is literally no other information provided.

This one is getting approved. JB actively pulled effort into the Spirit merger, and that was already after the DOJ said no. That merger should have been blocked. You can't publicly announce that you are going to kill a nationwide business model and public offering and expect the DOJ to say "go for it!"

Lots of Noise… sounds like the DOJ is about to file suit to block the deal. JB’s DOJ strikes again… West Coast monopoly to the islands. What a joke! This has to be one of the worst administrations in our country’s history.

Blocking is the only way the govt can get any "shakedown" of the companies via campaign donations and lobbying. Our massive govt needs to be fed, and taxes aren't cutting it. When there is a merger or other major corporate move, it's time for the beast to be fed.
