I agree.. probably double the length of time Alaska took to integrate Virgin unless Alaska plans on downsizing. A321 will probably even be more important with Max delays and if AAG pulls wide bodies out of HNL. You know since they promised to grow union jobs in Hawaii (enter Horizon).

I gave you fair credit for calling the HAL deal, but a few other things didn't pan out.
Give me a break.. I gave you JFK was closing 2 months before the company. The Max order, the exact size of our seniority list in 2019 for 2025. Go back have a look. I can’t erase anything, I can’t add it’s all there, it’s all unbelievably accurate. Yup, DA looked hard at us in 2012, we looked at B6 over the years, LUV made a big pass at us in early 2023, UA was interested in 2023, but DOJ said Zero percent chance. Over and over again I Said AS will buy HA… we would get 787…. Over and over again you all
laughed, asked stupid questions and made fun of me. What you got Rick… what do you add here “Emperor totally Unimportant”.

Looks really really good right now or DOJ is playing an unbelievable round of poker. My guess November we are all on happy family. I think one world stays and we give up very little, politically the state of Hawaii has pressured the DOJ in all the right directions for this to go really well. We just got to get rid of the x-VX toothpaste crowd. They are clueless, if they had their way they would be with B6 right now, “B6 is the best”, they said, how well are those words aging?😱 Remember B6 management was so awesome, so forward in their thinking😂😂😂. Are they gonna make it?

Since got asked this a bunch of times in PMs… My best guess for when HAL pilots will be able to bid AS NB bases is Q2 of 2026.

It’s not us, it’s ALPA national merger policy. But since you asked, almost all legacy Alaska pilots are awesome, almost all legacy Hawaiian pilots are awesome…. Most Legacy VX pilots will tell you their awesome, I’m pretty sure their record speaks for itself though🤔
All joking aside, I have met many great x-VX guys and gals, all of them are embarrassed by the angry 30 on here though. Most of them are actually happy to be working for AS, you believe that😱

All 321’s gone by the end of 2027… We still need to get this to the finish line though.

Umm nope. No arbitration language in ALPA merger policy. Maybe the merger committees will agree to that as a backstop for the SLI, but I don't see the HAL MEC agreeing to it for the contract, and you guys spend a whole lot of effort getting it out of your contract.

Apparently AAG has already slashed a QX presence in Hawaii. I think the concern is a lack of heavy maintenance on the islands and the need for ferry tanks. Sure would be nice to have 30+ turboprops to use. They seem to have been a great fit for the job. Oh well.

Sorry OTZ, you need to read ALPA Merger Policy at https://www.alpa.org/-/media/ALPA/Fi...and_Policy.pdf .

Lots of talk about SLI going to arbitration but nothing about a JCBA going to arbitration.
