At least SWA leaders are somewhat focused on making a profit.
HAL's team prays at the DEI and woke altar.
We're losing millions so the good news is we are buying Seagliders!
Total failures.
We separated and expanded Flight Training and now Flight Standards as well. More managers, yet we pay tons of pilots to sit around waiting for sim since the scheduling system is so screwed up.

Predictable response. I choose not to believe any conspiracy theorists who spew opinions as facts and think people should believe them without question. If your word for that is grazing, then use it. I read your comments, and disagree, so you don't speak for everyone. I do in fact believe that Airbus said they would not be liable if a company does not choose to follow their documented OEM procedures, and that Hawaiian changed for that reason because it makes a lot of sense legally and financially with liability from my background in the business world, call it grazing if you wish, I call it analysis from experience. I have read your posts and some of it I disagree with, it is more how you state opinion as fact and now if someone doesn't blindly follow your thinking that is what you see as the problem...nope, it's not, but believe what you wish.

Conspiracy theories like if we are not OEM we are open to liability? LOL. Aerodata, eNOTOC, Amadues, Ipads, Jeppesen, Not using Fly Smart software are all non-OEM items, I guess we are in a HUGE liability hole. Also, somebody needs to tell our legal department that Flt Ops just changed our entire OEM MEL to match our old HA MEL, HUGE LIABILITY there.

Sorry man your facts are all conspiracy, hate me all you want but my posts are the reality, not management propaganda.

You want to fly the Airbus in selected all day, go ahead. But following the owners' manual on an airplane that's designed be flown in a particular way might be a good idea. Just my $0.02.
Actually, I'd prefer if more pilots at HA would fly in selected/vert.speed instead of only having the wherewithal to push managed descent. It atleast would help so when ATC asks for anything remotely different our guys wouldn't make it into a complete clusterf^ck.

Agree with the "Woke Altar", they are too focused on the next parade. Management continues to throw more bodies at the problem with the same result, maybe they should try throwing qualified bodies at the problem.

The only fact I posted was repeating what someone said, that is not a conspiracy, it was said. I am old, I have worked direcly for a CEO of a Fortune 500 company and have seen behind the curtain before a major buyout let me do what I love for fun, fly. A CEO and his leaders are not allowed to say some things and have to say certain other things, they are beholden to a Board of Directors and then to shareholders (large shareholders, not small ones) and I am glad you are realizing this, it is the way of the world. Some things they say are accurate, and some are propaganda, it is what is needed from leadership. Does Hawaiian have issues, yes, is it perfect, no, the reality lies somewhere between what leadership says and what the conspiracy theorists in the masses say...but in my experience it is closer to what leadership says beacuse of one simple reality....they are held accountable to what they say and their job depends on it...folks on APC are not...that last staement is pure fact.

You state "In my experience, it is closer to what leadership says because of one simple reality, they are held accountable to what they say and their job depends on it"

Sorry, but you just proved what I figured out from your first post you are a sheep. Please do me a favor and review the last 3 Snacks and Facts, our COO clearly states on several occasions that we are financially sound and are on track to be a profitable airline. BOOM, guess what, we are in BAD BAD BAD Shape! News Flash they were held accountable by HUGE stock payouts that you can view for yourself on the HA investors page under SEC filings. You are leading the rest of the sheep off the cliff because your previous "Experience" with the CEO is still alive and well in your blood.

Can you do us a favor and stop this HA infighting on the Alaska page?

We have enough of our own infighting.

Do you a favor? You know everything, sure glad you are here to teach it from your vast experience being a sheep and trying to figure out about what a C-suite is about....I was in the C-suite (not HAL, but the game is very very similar across the board from what I have seen), but thank you, you clearly don't know what goes in the C-suite but are trying to figure, I will end on a positive note... you at least are trying to be a critical thinker and guess what C-suite is like...your are correct sometimes, off by a lot other times, but you think you know and you clearly have never held a C-level job, which is ok, but go ahead and pretend to teach me...thanks, I appreciate the attempt. I tried, but since you know everything there is nothing to teach you about it...best to you.
