11 700s
59 800s
12 900s
79 900ERs
65 MAX9s, 17 more next year
1 MAX8 coming this month, 7 more next year
We have something like 80 firm MAX orders and over 100 more options (Alaska has always taken every option, though this deal may shift things around)

We’ve got:
18 a321 NEO (engines resolved by April 2024)
2 A330 freighters (7 more next year and 1 more 2025 for a total of 10, contract up to 45 more)
20ish 717s (some are broke)
24 A330s (earliest off lease in a couple years)
12 firm 787 and 8 options (First 3 next year)
This is close, but maybe be off slightly.

FO's taxi at the big boy airlines when it makes sense, that's not an inherent CA thing.
And I kind of get it, that way the CA can supervise a high-risk but low monkey-skill phase of operation.

......and yet the OEM model is owning the other fleets on FOQA.......FOs don't run anything. They assist the Captain and the Captain is still the PIC. 717s need to taxi with their feet and differential brake/thrust. Fun for all.

Another question regarding this merger is how will it impact Horizon Air? Will they have Horizon operate E175s for inner island flying? Was told by multiple people that Air Group purchased an E175 to E190/E195 convertible simulator (its much larger then the E175 sims) which is currently at Flight Safety in Seattle. Why did Air Group spend the additional money on a simulator thats specifically convertible to the E190/E195?
Curious as to what everyones thoughts are regarding this.

If a 190/195 were to be brought onto property it would have to be flown by mainline pilots. There's no way this group would ever give an inch on scope. I highly doubt the ERJ ever touches inter-island flying. It can't handle the capacity or the cargo. Those planes and pilots are needed stateside and they are struggling to staff the flying they have.
Maybe Air Group purchased an E190/195 sim with the intentions of renting it out to other operators in the future if necessary? Who knows.
